Fannie Mae’s Structured 15 Year Cap provides all the benefits of a longer term
cap without the additional costs. Engineered for amortization and increasing
strike rates, the structured cap results in substantial savings as compared to
the standard 15 year cap. Used in conjunction with the Tax-Exempt Bond Credit
Enhancement product, it offers the security that LIHTC investors crave and the
affordability that developers want.
